I must be crazy. Seriously.
I have the attention span of a gnat. I am serious about that, too.
So, I am still using Tribesports. Haven't got bored with it. :) Haven't logged a workout because I am not certain how to log the workouts I am doing.
I NEVER thought that I would "get into" Beach Body. I checked it out, once, and decided that it wasn't for me. Apparently, someone had other plans, however.
I met this really awesome lady who is a BB coach. She started a fitness group here locally, and I jumped on the opportunity to workout with other people and maybe make some friends. It has been truly awesome. And she is going to run Tough Mudder next year!! :D
She introduced me to a couple of programs by using them to workout on Tuesdays and Thursdays with the group. I am absolutely HOOKED on Les Mills Combat! The intensity is right up my alley, and the trainers in the videos are awesome. They really keep you pumped during the workout. There are three levels; three programs. It is at the post office right now and I can't get it....UGH!!!
So I haven't started the first level yet, but will as soon as it gets here. I am so excited and can't wait!
Just a girl who began a fitness journey and wants to share her continued progress with the world! Not where I want to be, but I am well on my way!

My New Thing
OK, so it has become even more apparent that I get bored, and I get discouraged when I devote so much time to something and see zero results. However, I am not to be deterred. And now I have found my new niche. :)
It is called Tribe Sports ( tribesports.com ) and it is amazing. There are thousands of people who participate everyday, and I would even go so far as to call it the "Facebook" of the fitness world. I have seen other sites that say they offer this sort of experience, but this one is on top. You create your profile like you would for any other social network, with a fitness bio. You follow people, people follow you, and there are leader boards, and medals to earn (and you start earning them immediately, which really keeps you motivated). You join tribes, and complete challenges. You log your fitness ( I haven't yet seen anywhere to log food. I don't think that is something you do on this site, but I personally only ever logged food to keep track of what I was eating, not for calories or any other reason so that doesn't bother me at all), and logging your fitness is easy. I usually hate logging ANYTHING because of the redundancy of it. Tribe Sports seems to make it easy.
And yes, there is a mobile app. However, I am finding that I use the mobile web rather than the app. The app is really good for logging workouts on the go, or keeping track of your run or cycling, but other than that, I haven't found much else it is useful for.
I didn't think I would get bored with my last "thing" but I did. I am not going to say that I wont get bored with Tribe Sports, because anything is possible. I really hope that I don't though. There are literally thousands of people, challenges, and workouts to connect with. If you start to get bored, find a new challenge. Find something different there are literally THOUSANDS of possibilities.
This is it. This is what I have been looking for all along. This is going to get me ready for Tough Mudder.
Tribe Sports is absolutely amazing and I wish I would have found it 10 months ago. :)

Because Everyone Has Setbacks
I don't know what the heck happened to me within the past couple of weeks. My motivation took a nosedive, as well as my physical capability to get up at 5:30 a.m. to work out. UGH!
Went to the doctor today, and it turns out my thyroid might be out of whack again. I don't know if I ever told y'all that I have Hypothyroid Disease...well, now ya know.
I decided that instead of beating myself up daily because I didn't get up that morning (which accomplishes NOTHING), I will go back to working out in the evenings until I can get back on track with my morning workouts. I do not like working out in the evenings, but until I can get back on track with working out in the mornings, this is what I am going to do.
Stop being an effing crybaby and just do it! I know, I know...All I have to do is get up and do it! People with superb self control will never understand this. I, on the other hand, am learning it. Now. At 28 years old. How sad.
Well, now that I have vented to the world how I feel about the last two weeks, and now that I have become accountable for my lack of action, I will carry on with my fitness journey. :)
Love yourself, because I love you too.

First Real Post! (In This Blog) =)
Decided that I needed to get myself into gear! =) Especially since I won't need to move my posts here from the other blog. I am thinking about changing the template again…but I haven't yet got any feedback, so I am going to wait a little longer =) (UPDATE!! I changed it anyways. LOL)
This morning, I was up on schedule, at 5:35 to workout with Tony Gonzalez and the FitStar team. Today was…Back & Arms/Shoulders. It was good, but it really seems like ever since we finished the 10 day Challenge, that the workouts in my program seem…too…easy. LOL. The challenge was all freestyle sessions, and some of them were intense! I love it and it was an awesome way to become acquainted with the freestyle sessions. I am still relatively new to FitStar. =)
Once you have friends on FitStar, it makes all the difference to the experience. Having that feedback from your workout buddies is awesome. And we can still workout on our own schedule. =) OK, enough about FitStar…in this post. =)
Post workout:
I drink my breakfast. Yup, drink it. Fruits and veggies, as well as a whey protein powder. I really don't have a specific set of ingredients, or specific measurements for the ingredients. I am just going to tell you what I threw in the bullet today. J
In a tall bullet cup, add (in order):
- Spinach (about half a cup. Smush it in there. It is ok if it is packed down)
- Kale (same as with the spinach. Cup should be just over half full with greens)
- A whole, chopped and de-seeded apple (small fuji)
- Mixed berry blend (strawberries, raspberries, blue berries) almost to the top.
- Fill to the fill line with almond milk
- ½ scoop of whey protein. ½ scoop because it's 30g protein to a scoop.
That is it for today. I'll be back tomorrow. =)
Love yourself, because I love you too. <3
